"Let's make some Chigiri-e!"

On October 2, 2011, as a part of the Culture Days event held across Canada,the Rufus Lin Gallery of Japanese Art organized a chigiri-e (torn paper collage) experience event.A solo exhibition of Mie Mori, a Japanese artist who specializes in torn paper collage,is currently being held at the gallery and participants in the event created their own chigiri-e pictures, using her art work as inspiration.
